Every product is thouroughly tested by a third-party laboratory. We test for potency, residual solvents, heavy metals, and other contaminants to ensure our products meet our rigorous standards. Also every batch of CBD extract is independently lab-tested for potency, pesticides, contaminants, and residual solvents.

We test for purity, potency and pollutants. That means we test for the good stuff like cannabinoids and terpenes, and we also test for the not-so-good stuff like heavy metals, pesticides (including glyphosate), solvents, mycotoxins and bacteria. We are dedicated to transparency, so we will make information regarding every batch accessible on our website.

Our CBD oil is extracted from select, U.S. grown hemp through an all-natural, proprietary extraction and refinement method that meets our rigorous standards for taste, color, potency and purity. This proprietary extraction methods allow us to deliver quality hemp ingredients that are rich with all-natural cannabinoids and free from pesticides, chemicals and other “junk” materials commonly found in many of today’s CBD products.

Yes! Our products do not contain any animal byproducts.

No, Element Apothec’s products are never tested on animals and are 100% cruelty-free. We have received The Leaping Bunny Certification. The Leaping Bunny Certification is a voluntary pledge that cosmetic, personal care, and/or household product companies make to clear animal testing from all stages of product development. Element Apothec enthusiastically makes this pledge.

Yes, all Element Apothec products are gluten free.

While we do not actively test for the presence of those ingredients, our products are manufactured without any of the top common allergens listed above.

We are committed to formulating our products with the most responsible and sustainably sourced ingredients available. Every vendor is screened and verified prior to including their ingredients in our products.

We have committed to creating packaging that is 75% recyclable with the goal of 100% recyclable within three years. In addition, we try to utilize recycled products in our packaging including SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) certified paper whenever available.

The average shelf life for our products is 18 months but for optimal freshness, we recommend using within the first 6-12 months of purchase.

We recommend storing our products in a cool, dry, dark place to protect the cold-pressed oils and active ingredients.

The hemp-derived CBD used in all of our products are made with Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract which contains undetectable levels of THC. Please note that while undetectable, trace amounts of THC may exist.
